Before her addiction and mental health issues required a change\, she worked in the counseling field and acquired clinical expertise that is useful in understanding and describing the topics she addresses. She’s a writer of prose and poetry on the subjects of mental health and addiction\, working to manage her conditions responsibly while trying to decrease shame and stigma for others who suffer. Her primary duties include support at all major fundraising events as well as organizing the organization’s largest event\, the High Tech Challenge golf tournament. Prior to being hired almost three years ago\, she has been a volunteer for Special Olympics since 2015. \n  \nAngela Page knows Special Olympics inside and out.
